Perth Airport to open first hotel on site as part of a $5 billion infrastructure program.

Perth Airport has partnered with Accor, Australia’s largest hotel group, to operate it’s first on-site hotel, which is part of the $5 billion infrastructure upgrade planned over the next decade. The new Pullman Perth Airport hotel, is projected to open in 2027 and will feature 240 rooms across eight floors, along with a rooftop restaurant and bar, café, gym, sauna, meeting rooms and co-working spaces.

This development comes shortly after Perth Airport reported an increase in EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation), to $420.8 million in FY24, a bit higher from the $403.8 million the previous year. The $5 billion capital program will include additional terminal facilities, a second parallel runway, new multi-storey car parks, and improved ground transport infrastructure, which is essential as the airport handled nearly 157,000 aircraft movements and over 16.1 million passengers in FY24.

Located next to Metronet’s Airport Central Station, the hotel will offer convenient 12-minute access to Perth’s CBD.

Perth Airport’s chief property officer, Dan Sweet, highlighted the hotel’s value for both international and interstate visitors needing a place to stay and relax during connections.

Accor’s Pacific COO, Adrian Williams, expressed confidence in the Pullman’s appeal for business and leisure travelers, noting its “unrivalled location and exceptional facilities.” The Pullman Perth Airport will join Accor’s airport hotel network, including similar properties in Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland, further establishing Perth Airport as a major commercial and service hub in the region.
