Essential Qualifications

• Construction Certificate/Degree (Essential)
• Trade Certificate (Desirable)
• Current Driver’s License (Essential)

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstratable experience as a Site Manager in Australia’s commercial fit-out or new-build construction market
• Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations, codes, structural drawings, and contract documents
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving & multitasking abilities
• Organised, motivated, and safety-focused leadership

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction and subcontracting teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
• Conduct inductions for new subcontractors and site employees
• Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
• Ensure all scheduled work is completed within the designated timeframe
• Maintain relevant site documentation and compliance with WHS requirements
• Promote an inclusive and motivated workplace culture
• Oversee safety regulations and company policy adherence to prioritise team well-being
• Liaise with safety representatives, and clients to resolve construction-related issues
• Handle HSE responsibilities, including workplace inspections, hazard/incident reporting, permit issuance, toolbox talks, and safety observations
