Civil Estimator – Intermediate to Lead Level Perth-Based | Permanent Role | Civil, Mining & Infrastructure Projects
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a long-standing civil contractor with a strong reputation in the WA market. This privately owned business delivers a broad range of works across mining infrastructure, NPI, and large-scale bulk earthworks projects.
With a growing pipeline of tenders and awarded projects, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Civil Estimator to their Perth-based team. This is a permanent role offering long-term career progression, support from an experienced leadership group, and the opportunity to work across a variety of bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate first-principles cost estimates for civil and mining infrastructure projects
• Review and interpret drawings, technical specs, and client documentation
• Develop construction methodologies and programs in line with tender requirements
• Engage subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and capability
• Participate in tender strategy sessions, client meetings, and internal handovers
• Mentor junior team members where required (for senior-level candidates)

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of estimating experience within civil construction, mining services, or infrastructure
• Strong technical knowledge across earthworks, NPI, and related scopes
• Proficiency with estimating tools (e.g. Expert Estimation, CCS Candy, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Leadership capability for those stepping into Senior or Lead roles
