The Company

Our clients are well-known civil contracting businesses that operate within the mining civils/services, regional roads and NPI infrastructure space. With project awards progressing rapidly in the resource sector they are currently looking to expand their project team with hands-on and driven Civil Project Engineers.

We are currently looking for candidates at Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer level with solid civil contracting experience – ideally Bulk Earthworks, Utilities/Trenching, Piping, Roads Construction etc. You will be working in the delivery of large-scale earthworks/bulk earthworks and minor concrete package for a major development project.

Skills and Experience:

• Civil contracting experience as a Project Engineer working in mining services and infrastructure space
• Project and technical experience in the areas of earthworks/ bulk earthworks, drainage, roads, rail, non-process infrastructure etc.
• Ability to provide strong technical advice & coordinate with other site & project engineers to deliver on the design and specifications
• Oversee QA/ QC/ Quality reporting as well as assisting with cost and productivity reporting – ability to identify issues/risks that may occur
• Oversee site activities associated with the efficient use of plant, equipment and materials
• Work closely with the on-site supervisors to ensure prioritisation and productivity of their crews
• Possess recognised Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
• Enjoy working in a collaborative and focused team environment
