The Company:

Our client is a Western Australian Builder in the Commercial Construction Build and Fit-Out space. The are seeking a well informed and team orientated Estimator to join their Perth WA operations. 

Experience/Qualifications: 

• 3+ years estimating commercial builds in Australia. 
• Holds a construction, engineering or quantity surveying degree or trade background. 
• Knowledge of WA’s tendering market and competitive rates.
• Computer literate: familiar with general estimating software programs 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detail estimate assessments of tenders for shortlist review.
• Follow through on all assigned tender submissions and quotations, maintaining records on all outcomes.
• Ensure documents are accurately entered into project software.
• Conduct regular meetings and liaise clearly with subcontractors.  Ensuring the full understating of the full scope of works.
• Maximise profit for Construction Management Projects.
• Compare and analyze subcontractor price and draft the project preliminaries.
• Minimize company exposure through risk and analysis. 
• Prepare the package for handover to project teams, assisting in construction variations. 
• Actively seek new subcontractor opportunities. 
• Actively listen to the customer and deliver solutions,
• Play a key part of the team, work autonomously and mentor cadets.
