As part of the preparations for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, an $87 million contract has been awarded to BMD for the first phase of the Northshore Brisbane Street Renewal Program.

This phase includes upgrading roadways and landscape infrastructure, with the creation of a sub-tropical boulevard with bike lanes, walkways, and lush landscaping along Macarthur Avenue.

The athlete village accommodation at Northshore Brisbane will be repurposed into a variety of housing options, including market, affordable, hotel, retirement, and social housing, in addition to community, recreational, and leisure facilities following the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
