WA is Open for Business – Lowest Cost of Living Ratio/ Lowest Unemployment/7000 jobs created in May
Western Australia is well and truly back open, with Mark McGowan to use his first in-person National Cabinet meeting to tell families on the east coast to move to WA for a “better life”.
Mark McGowan said, “One of the things I’ll point out is that we have cheapest housing comparatively, the highest average weekly earnings, a great lifestyle and secure work.”
“When I was in Sydney last week I saw lots of people who have very ordinary paying jobs yet the average price of a house there is $1.2 million dollars — I don’t understand how people live.”
“They could move here and have a much better and more affordable life, own their own home and have money left over. It’s a no brainer as far as I’m concerned.”
In a post published on his social media pages, The WA Premier, advises that 7,000 full time jobs were created in WA in the past month, meaning we have set a new record for full time employment in WA.
WA still has the lowest unemployment rate in the nation of 3.1%, well below the national rate of 3.9%.
This is great news for WA.
